Profil Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Wewewa Barat pada Materi Himpunan Ditinjau Gaya Belajar
Abstract
This study aims (1) to understand the mathematical problem solving profile of class VII students studying set material in terms of visual learning style, (2) to understand the mathematical problem solving profile of class VII students studying set material in terms of audiotorial learning style, (3) to understand Mathematics problem solving profile of class VII students studying set material in terms of kinesthetic learning style. This research belongs to the type of qualitative descriptive research. The population of this study were all students of class VIIA. The research sample consisted of 9 students from class VIIA who were taken according to the scores obtained which were categorized as high, medium and low scores for each learning style. Data collection techniques using test questions (Question test), questionnaires, interviews, observations (observation). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the profile of math problem solving for class VIIA students in terms of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles, some have gone through 4 stages of problem solving according to polya, some have not completed all stages of completion according to polya and some have completed a short way to solve problems.
