Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematika Siswa SMP di Era Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
This research is a descriptive qualitative research to see the mathematical critical thinking skills of junior high school students during online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were students of SMP N 1 Sarang class VIII, the subjects were selected by purposive random sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained using the interview guide research instrument.
Based on the research that has been carried out, the results of students' critical thinking skills are still low, this is evidenced by how students solve problems in the form of story questions. Students have difficulty in solving more complex mathematical problems with varied levels of difficulty. The results of this study can be used as an illustration and benchmark for teachers in preparing learning scenarios both online and offline that are more interesting in terms of learning models and the use of varied learning materials and media.
