Konsumerisme Masyarakat Asia Dalam Memengaruhi Liberalisasi Ekonomi di Era Globalisasi
Abstract
Consumerism is the result of capitalism which is the impact of economic liberalization in the era of globalization. Free trade makes world distances smaller, making all parties compete to seek maximum profits with as little capital as possible. One of the target markets of capital is Asia, with a population of almost half of the world's total population, making Asia have an important role in economic liberalization. The aim of this research is to find out the causes of societal consumerism in Asia and how this consumerism influences economic liberalization in the era of globalization. The research used is descriptive qualitative with library study methods. As a result, it was discovered that there are regions in Asia that have very large populations, making them market targets for economic liberalization in the era of globalization
