Membangun Jiwa Kepemimpinan Siswa Melalui Program Penyuluhan Kepemimpinan dan Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) Di MTS Al Hikmah Karanganyar

Abstract

Character and leadership education are important aspects in forming a responsible and visionary young generation. This article discusses efforts to build student leadership through a leadership counseling program and strengthening the role of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at MTs Al Hikmah Karanganyar. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques on OSIS activities and counseling carried out. The results show that leadership counseling has a positive impact on students' understanding of the roles and responsibilities as leaders. In addition, students' active involvement in OSIS activities also improves communication, cooperation, and decision-making skills. In conclusion, this program is effective in fostering students' leadership potential and can be used as a model for character development in junior high schools.
