Implemented as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, the study involved 28 eighth-grade students. Both qualitative (observation and interview) and quantitative (pre-test and post-test) data were collected and analyzed. The findings revealed that the use of TikTok significantly improved students’ speaking performance. In the pre-test, only 14.2% of the students achieved the minimum mastery criterion. This percentage increased to 64.2% in Post-Test I and 85.7% in Post-Test II. Furthermore, TikTok effectively fostered student participation, enhanced their confidence, and created an enjoyable learning atmosphere. The study concludes that TikTok can serve as an effective and engaging alternative medium for teaching speaking in EFL classrooms.
