The abstract nature of solid geometry concepts often causes difficulties for junior high school students, particularly in visualizing three-dimensional objects. This study aims to develop an interactive augmented reality (AR)-based learning media integrated with the RADEC learning method to support students’ conceptual understanding of flat-sided solid figures. The research employed a research and development approach using the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted at a junior high school with eighth-grade students, while mathematics teachers and experts served as validators. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the developed AR-based learning media is highly feasible in terms of content accuracy, media design, interactivity, and ease of use. Students showed positive responses and demonstrated improved conceptual understanding through collaborative and student-centered learning activities guided by the RADEC stages. The integration of AR technology with the RADEC method provides meaningful learning experiences by bridging abstract mathematical concepts with concrete visual representations. This study contributes to the advancement of educational technology research by offering an effective instructional design model that integrates immersive technology with structured pedagogical approaches for mathematics learning.
