Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significant differences in learning outcomes of Pancasila Education students between groups taught using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method and those taught using the Conventional Method. The research design used was a quasi-experimental with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design model. The study sample involved 80 students from non-education study programs at a university, divided into an experimental group (n = 40) and a control group (n = 40). Learning outcomes were measured using a test instrument whose validity and reliability were tested. The results of the t-test analysis on the post-test data showed that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes, where the average score of the CTL group (M = 86.1; SD = 4.5) was statistically higher than that of the conventional group (M = 75.9; SD = 5.1). This finding indicates that CTL is effective in contextualizing Pancasila values, thereby improving students' understanding and learning outcomes comprehensively.
