Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Berbasis Potensi; Pendidikan, serta Penyuluhan Universitas Insan Budi Utomo di MA Mu’allimat Al-Chusainiyah Sawojajar, Kota Malang

Abstract

The Community Service Based on Potential (PMBP) program is a mandatory course for all education students at Insan Budi Utomo University. The vision of this PMBP program is to empower the school community, specifically the 12th-grade students of MA Muallimat, Malang City, through outreach on the dangers of gadget addiction in early adolescence, campus outreach, and school hygiene education. This PMBP program was implemented over approximately two months, from March 4 to May 4, 2024, in stages, starting with preparation in the form of school observations, classroom observations that would serve as the learning locations, and the preparation of outreach materials that would later be delivered to the 12th-grade students of MA Muallimat Al-Chusainiyah, Malang City. These implemented programs demonstrate the success of all parties involved in the PMBP work program. After the PMBP activity period ends, it is hoped that all students who have received counseling materials and various coaching in the field of hygiene education and campus socialization can benefit from it for their future lives. The success of this PMBP activity should be addressed by the campus and the school where the PMBP is implemented by improving communication and cooperation with MA Mu'allimat Al Chusainiyah Malang City so that future PMBP activities will be better and provide more benefits for the school environment, students, and students themselves.
