Abstract

This community service is motivated by the fact that there are still many early childhood education teachers who are not graduates of early childhood education, and the lack of understanding and skills of early childhood education teachers in designing educational game tools (APE). Apart from that, the motivation of teachers to create their own Educational Game Tools (APE) is also still low. This activity is aimed specifically at Early Childhood educators in Rejotangan District, Tulungagung Regency with the aim that teachers are not only introduced to the variety of learning through play but also designing simple materials. This activity trains teachers to make simple educational game tools (APE) from materials that are easy to obtain. This program emerged because of problems in several kindergartens/early childhood education, where the obstacles that occurred were repetitive play activities and the lack of ideas for teachers to develop simple materials as tools for playing with students. This research aims to create educational game tools (APE) as a solution to improve the quality of students both at university and in kindergarten. The importance of playing with educational game tools (APE) for children is not only to develop the level of motor skills but intelligence, knowledge and attitude aspects, development of tools. Educational Games (APE) are a fundamental activity for teachers to explore their abilities in teaching, and the importance of APE for teachers to prioritize children's enjoyment of learning.
