Abstract

An environment that is kept clean has a good impact on human health around it. The school environment is a place that must be kept clean so that the continuity of learning activities can run quite well. Our potential-based community service group in 2020 is located in Madiredo Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java. We held an extension program related to the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment and sorting waste at SMP Islam 02 Pujon. The method we used was counseling related to the theme. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of seventh grade students regarding the importance of maintaining a clean environment and sorting waste at school and there are two mops for joint use at SMP Islam 02 Pujon.
